Container releases: We had our 2nd problem of this short year with USL cargo services as we experienced delays in getting the necessary releases for our containers. The most recent problem, the shipment on the vessel Mataquito, container BMOU3143521 bol# MUMNFK013927/928/929/930/931. USL admitted there was an internal billing snafu where they did not pay NYK. Because of this non-payment, we were unable to get a steamship line release until late this afternoon and now the container will not be delivered to our warehouse until sometime on Tuesday. We lost a day of shipping and will most likely receive chargeback's since we were not able to fulfill the shipment of orders that should have been sent today. These chargeback's could amount to significant dollars that we really should be compensated in some way since this delay was not our fault. Please review our options as we feel it may be time to look into other carriers that could service us better than ran the risk of more delays in the future. 4. Vienna Ombre rugs: we unrolled one of the reverse rolled rugs and it appears to be getting better.
