I have made good progress. The items I am correcting do not disappear from the list once the changes are made (I am receiving confirmation that the changes have been made). I am going to hold off on the rest until I can determine if the changes are actually taking and there is not a malfunction in the portal. I would think the items should be disappearing when corrections are made. I will email Sam to see if she can give me any info.
