They advised that due to decrease in Drawback rate by 6% , increase in raw materials cost and the new taxation policy, they are incurring loss in the Mirage and Sahara qualities and therefore need Price increase. The Price increase is exorbitant and have discussed in detail with Sharad and Mrs.Gupta. Mrs.Gupta herself felt that this is huge increase , but since they are making loss, therefore need the increase. Have told her that it will not be possible to get such an increase from the customer as product is already there . She advises that whatever best we can increase now to support the business, she might agree, but will be needing the required Price sometime in near future . They will ship all running POs at old price and new agreed prices will be applicable from the New Orders only.
