Regarding the barcode label, if it is not= much trouble to change, we would like to remove the word =93MATRIX=94

and replace it with =93SKU=94. 

 

Also, is there any way to make our barcod= e taller.  It appears to be very small on the bottom of the label and = It would help if there was a larger target on the labels to scan. 

 

Please let me know if these changes can b= e made.

Regarding the rug labels, thank you for s= ending an example.  Please see attached .jpg as we made a few adjustme= nts to the label you sent us.  There was a lot of wasted space below the =93Liora Manne=94 logo so we made the logo bigger to take = up this extra space, and we also centered the =93Trans-Ocean=94 logo. = The Care Instructions were too large so we reduced the horizontal length a= nd raised the vertical so they are taking up no more than =BC of the overall label, in other words, try to keep =93Lior= a Manne=94 Logo size in proportion with the Care Instructions.  The on= ly change I was not able to make is please put a space between =93Care=94 a= nd =93Instructions=94 and remove the =93E=94, =93S=94 and =93F=94 from the end

 

Please make these changes as outlined abo= ve and send us a revised example.  We would like to see a complete exa= mple with one of your barcode stickers stuck on to the rug label with any one of the items information printed, so we can see= the complete label.  All of the necessary information appears to be o= n your barcode sticker, but we really need to see how large the barcode is = to be sure the label would be acceptable

 

Can you please also confirm the overall s= ize of the rug label; (we know you mentioned your Barcode label is 6x12.5cm= )

 

Thank you for confirming =93overlock=94 i= s the same as surging and sending us a picture.  All of our Marais rug= s should be surged including the 31x31 sized sales samples.

 

Await test results and revised label samp= le for our approval

With regard to our product labeling, I ha= ve attached artwork for the Liora Manne logo which is located on the top of= our rug labels and artwork for Trans Ocean logo that should be on the bottom.  Care instructions in English, Spanish = and French are also attached as this information must be on our rug labels.=

 

We have attached a few examples of how th= e Marais rug labels should look when they are completed.   We und= erstand you currently have a barcode label that could possibly be stuck in place over the current barcode location on our rug labels. &nb= sp;Please review the information and label examples and advise if you belie= ve your barcode label will fit in this location and still look presentable.=  

 

Please create some sample rug labels usin= g our information and send them to us for approval. 

 

Also, I just wanted to make sure you noti= ced our packaging comments.  The rugs should be rolled face or pile in.  The plastic used to = package our rugs must be a minimum of .008= =94 or 8mil and the ends of the bales taped down

Please see attached .pdf  of our fir= st production purchase order BOY1-001 for our Marais line of rugs.

 

We would like this order ready to be ship= ped from Turkey on approx. April 1st so we will receive it in ou= r warehouse by the end of April.  As our initial orders with your factory may be on the smaller size, we will be looking to= consolidate our shipments in the region so we are able to ship full contai= ner loads from the port of Mersin, Turkey to our warehouse in Suffolk, VA U= SA.  I will be passing along the factories contact information to our freight forwarder in the area so they= can handle making the shipping arrangements.

 

Testing:  A= s with all products we purchase, we must keep yearly updated flammability tests run on any items we sell.  Can you please make arrangements to = have the Flammability test 16 CFR 1630/1631 and the Crocking test AATCC-165= Dry/Wet test run for our item =93Marais=94.  We will need the passing= results sent to us so we can keep them on file and provide to our customers if necessary. 

 

Labeling:

For the labeling of our rugs we use a 4= =94x6=94 sized adhesive backed label.  We request labels with aggressi= ve tire adhesive as we have found the labels with standard adhesive fall off during shipping.  The labels should be placed on th= e back side of the rug in the lower right-hand corner. 

 

We have attached a copy of our item list for this new= order.  This item list has all of the necessary information, name, si= ze, description, UPC code, etc. to produce a rug label with a barcode (UPC-A type).  I will forward you additional informati= on on our rug labels, layout and necessary information so you can print out= examples for our approval.

 

Packaging:

The rugs should be rolled face or pile in. 

 

The plastic used to package our rugs must be a minimu= m of .008=94 or 8mil which is the minimum requirements for UPS and FedEx.  We need t= he ends taped down so our customers are not charged additional freight.

 

We believe much of this information you already know = and are probably doing for other customers but we just want to make sure we= have covered everything.
