Normally this is how we make all our machine made rugs, both pile and flatweaves. Our fear is that folding over a flatweave may make it seem to the customer that the rug is not laying flat. Please let us know your thoughts and if you think surging (overlocking) all 4 sides will cause you any problems. For the 31x31 overlocking all 4 sides is perfect.
