FYI - I just saw an email that Naran sent me before he left tonight, =
that he
has to leave at 3:00 on tomorrow (Wednesday) because he has an =
appointment.

=20

Based on Allan=92s email below =96 If the rule is to charge vacation =
days for
time missed, then we should do as Allan suggests =96the only thing is, =
that he
will still have 5 vacation days after we charge him for todays lateness =
=96
which means he can continue to come in late or miss days until his last =
day
on 3/2 and all that we are doing is charging the time against vacation =
days
he is not going to take any ways.

=20

Stephen/Dean,

=20

Our policy states that if an employee is absent for more than 4 hours =
then
he/she is charged for a full sick/personal day; 2-4 hours would be =BD =
day and
if less than 2 hours then the time can be made up.

=20

I=92m not sure what time Naran got in today but I think we should dock =
him for
=BD day since he seemed to be absent for between 4 and 4 =BE hours based =
on the
times of the emails.

=20

He=92s accrued 1.16 sick/personal days thru 2/28/18 and already used 2 =
days so
he=92s over the limit.

He=92s also accrued 5.8 vacation days so we=92ll have to charge his =
absence
today to his vacation time.

=20

Please let me know if you agree so we can record accordingly.

=20

Thanks.

=20

               Al
