As part of our continued efforts to give customers the best shopping experience, we will begin to enforce the requirements in our Vendor Guidelines.

Please note that the following actions will incur non-compliance fees:

  • Providing the customer with an invalid tracking number
  • Cancelling an order due to out of stock
  • Cancelling an order due to failed to ship
  • Marking a small parcel order as “shipped” but actually shipping at a later date
  • Shipping a customer’s order after the stated lead time
  • Failing to mark an order as shipped in your Vendor Dashboard

To help you identify and correct non-compliance and prevent future charges, the Charges page currently displays the fees you would have incurred. The grace period for these fees will extend through March 19th. Effective March 20th, 2018, Houzz will begin enforcing these non-compliance fees via automatic payment deductions.

The full list of charges is located in the Non-Compliance Fees for Vendors page under the Vendor Resources section of your Vendor Dashboard. Our Vendor Agreement and Vendor Guidelines have also been updated to reflect this new policy. By continuing to sell your products on Houzz, you agree to the updated Vendor Agreement.
