As mentioned, my company Achieve IT Solutions, is a NY based reseller for SAP Business One as well as the developer of a suite of distribution add-on called Resolv . Our recommended approach is to have an initial discovery meeting at Transocean, for Achieve IT to get an understanding of the operations and requirements related to replace your Munics / Next Generation system. Of particular interest will be the beginning to end process of Transocean's sales to invoice as well as purchasing to ap cycles. From the sales side of the business, how orders are received (EDI, etc.), priced, committed, shipped, invoiced, paid, etc. Similar on the purchase process, from how know when to issue po's for items, costing, container management, receiving, warehousing, etc. This approach usually covers the key areas of distributors that are also importers. Obviously, if there are other important areas, we can cover as well. I am available for this initial meeting for next Tuesday 3/20 or Thursday 3/22.
