Art Van has requested an = 846 Inventory Report from any vendors doing Direct Ship.  They = would like this uploaded on our website 3 to 5 days per = week.  (note: Mike has been working on = this)

 

Art Van will also be = sending us your open POs, which we will load to the website.  This = is done so you can complete any open POs using our website.  Please = be aware of this so you do not duplicate any = orders.

 

For printing we require = that you turn off the Pop-up Blocker to allow orders for ecUtopia to = print. 

 

Labels can be = printed directly from our web portal.  It is a 4x6 thermal label, = or an Avery label 5168 or 8168.  (These are stock and special order = labels)  If you do direct ship only, you do not need to do this = label.  Instead you can do the shipping label and packing slip, = also available on our web = portal.

You = can actually go in and upload the 846 if you want.  I am attaching = our instructions for that, as well as a formatted document.  Please = use the formatted excel document I have attached, then save it as your = master = excel file on = your desktop (or wherever you want to save it).  Then do updates to = your master file, not the csv file, and save the updates as a new csv = each day.  Just let me know if you upload one, and I can take a = look at it.  Also, Art Van has been open to just doing the upload 3 = days a week if that works better for = you.

Art Van has asked us to implement EDI with = you.  We have a few options available.  If you already do EDI = with other Retailers, we can setup an AS2 connection (our preferred = method) or a VAN connection. 

We can also work = with you to connect using our Web Forms solution.  There is a = monthly fee of $49 to use our ecPortal.  There is also a label = charge of $10 and an 846 upload fee of $1.00 per upload.  Use of = our web portal meets full EDI compliance with Art = Van.

Art Van=E2=80=99s REQUIRED documents = are:

  • 850 =E2=80=93 Purchase = Order
  • 860 - PO Change with a = return 855 required
  • 855 - PO = Acknowledgment
  • 856 - Advanced Shipping = Notice
  • 846 =E2=80=93 Inventory = Report 3 to 5 uploads per week
  • Labels =E2=80=93 = Merchandise Labels if you are shipping to store, Packing slip if you are = shipping directly to their = customer.

Please let me know your = preferred method, so we may begin this implementation.  I have = attached a letter from Art Van for you review.
