Mark,
I was told that they had to send physical labels in for the final USPS =
approval. Can they submit scanned copies to help speed this up?

Zarko,
Below is the response form the Label Verification team on this issue.
Hello,
The final destination USPS postal code (that is next or below the "USPS =
Deliver To" text) must match the CONSIGNEE POSTAL CODE (printed to the =
right of the "SHIP TO:" "USPS" text) on the top of the label. These =
postal codes are used to identify the final location the package will =
go. The UPS Postal code is only used to identify the UPS facility the =
package will go to before being picked up by USPS to be delivered to the =
final destination. Having USPS postal codes that do not match will cause =
operational issues within the USPS system. This may delay the =
customer=E2=80=99s package and cause shipments to be sorted incorrectly. =
Many streets names are used more than once within a city. The only way =
to decipher the intended final destination in those types of situations =
is the Postal code.
Let us know if you have additional questions.

Mark,

Thank you, yes, this helps a lot.
As I had anticipated, this is a data issue=E2=80=A6 Can someone at UPS =
assist us with is?
Is there an updated file of USPS Post Office Facilities?
Below is the raw data source data for the two labels that kicked out due =
to zip codes not matching=E2=80=A6 As you can see below (this is the =
data file we received from UPS) the consignee zip code 54915 points to =
post office 54913 just the way it showed on the labels And consignee zip =
code 82072 points to post office 82070 and therefore shows on the label =
as well.
If you show something different for these zip codes can you share the =
source file with us?

I am sorry but I need to push for this..

In the past you always provided the tracking numbers that =
failed=E2=80=A6.why is this different.

It is impossible to trouble shoot this without know what tracking =
numbers failed ..
We provided you with 12 labels=E2=80=A6out of which two labels =
failed=E2=80=A6..which means there is no design issue of the label, but =
the data=E2=80=A6.and the data is what we got from UPS.

Please see what you can do and provide the two tracking numbers that =
failed.

Thank you.
