Yet paper checks continue to be used, most notably in the US. In the January issue of Accounts Payable Now & Tomorrow, we discuss ways to convince vendors to accept electronic payments. In addition to the most common methods, we've got 10 less-commonly used, albeit effective, ways to get suppliers to accept ACH. Here's one of them. Tip:Make payment by ACH the default method for newly added suppliers. If they want paper checks they have to opt out. Fact: Th= e benefits of making payments electronically rather than paying with a pape= r check are many- both for the purchaser and the seller. Yet paper checks c= ontinue to be used, most notably in the US.
In the January issue of Accoun= ts Payable Now & Tomorrow, we discuss ways to convince vendors to accept el= ectronic payments. In addition to the most common methods, we've got 10 les= s-commonly used, albeit effective, ways to get suppliers to accept ACH. Her= e's one of them.  
 
Tip:Make= payment by ACH the default method for newly added suppliers. If they want = paper checks they have to opt out. Those who take this approach find that v= ery few vendors do; most stay with the electronic payments.
