As te= chnology continues to creep into our processes and management teams everywh= ere expect, no make that demand, improved productivity, best practices are = more important than ever. They integrate the very-much needed strong contro= ls while at the same time allowing organizations to operate as effectively = as possible. And that effectiveness includes functioning at the lowest cost= possible.
With = so much change headed towards the accounts payable function, those best pra= ctices are not static. That's why it is imperative that everyone follow adv= ice given by Recharged Education's Lynn Larson as part of her 16 Annual Tas= ks for Program Fitness. This particular piece of advice is pertinent not ju= st to card programs but to all facets of the accounts payable and payment f= unction.
Tip: Lynn= advices that at least once a year, you should ensure your policies and pro= cedures are accurate and look for opportunities to improve the appearance a= nd clarity.
