Problem: What do you do with the boarding pass you printed at home after you have completed your trip? If you are like me, you don't take any special care with them, possibly even throwing them away in a hotel room. Bad idea, explain the experts. Why? Because boarding passes contain a certain amount of personal information that can be used by someone intent on stealing an identity or credit card information. New Best Practice: Any boarding pass should be treated with care, given the information on it. After the trip, it should be shredded. This is a recommendation that should be shared with all your travelers. Commentary: Of course, as more and more people rely on electronic boarding passes instead of paper, this is an issue that could eventually disappear. If I'm going to be totally honest, I have to admit that I n= ever gave this issue a second thought - and I definitely didn't employ best= practices.

Problem: What do you= do with the boarding pass you printed at home after you have completed you= r trip? If you are like me, you don't take any special care with them, poss= ibly even throwing them away in a hotel room. Bad idea, explain the experts= . Why? Because boarding passes contain a certain amount of personal informa= tion that can be used by someone intent on stealing an identity or credit c= ard information.

New Best Practice: A= ny boarding pass should be treated with care, given the information on it. = After the trip, it should be shredded. This is a recommendation that should= be shared with all your travelers.

Commentary: Of cours= e, as more and more people rely on electronic boarding passes instead of pa= per, this is an issue that could eventually disappear.
