Companies often g= et into trouble with the IRS simply because they don't know the rules and d= on't want to give employees a hard time. It's easy for this to happen, espe= cially when reimbursing employees for business-related travel and entertain= ment expenses. The rules are quite clear - but that doesn't mean everyone g= ets it right.

Take the quick-quiz below to see if your organiza= tion has unintentionally fallen into a black hole of trouble with the IRS.&= nbsp;
  1. Do you have = employees who put personal purchases on their expense reports and their man= agers simply look the other way?
     
  2. Do you have employees who put in fo= r expense reimbursements at year end despite traveling throughout the year?=
     
  3. Does your organization reimburse traveling employees at per-diem ra= tes that are higher than the GSA rates?
     
  4. Does your company ignore tak= e-home meal charges on business meal reimbursement requests?
     
  5. Does yo= ur organization look the other way when the expenses for spouses or signifi= cant others are included in reimbursement requests even though they had not= hing to do with the business?
