Run a report that identifies vendors used my just one cardholder. This will involve a little research for there may be a very good reason why this particular vendor is not used by a wider audience. Perhaps it is a specialty vendor whose niche products are only applicable to one person within the organization. For example, this might be a special marketing service used only by one team member in marketing or a transcribing service used by someone in legal. The Other Possibility: However, it might be something very different. It is possible that the employee using this vendor not used by anyone else is playing games. They could be in collusion with the vendor and splitting "the profits." Even worse, they could have set up a company whose sole purpose was to defraud your organization. Tip: Once you have your report of vendors used by only one employee, roll up your sleeves and do a little investigation. A little research will help you ferret out which situation is in play with your single-use vendors. This task should be repeated periodically to ferret out new situations. = The Report: Did you know you can use a simple report = generated by your card administrator to help identify fraud? Run a report t= hat identifies vendors used my just one cardholder. This will involve a lit= tle research for there may be a very good reason why this particular vendor= is not used by a wider audience.

Perhaps it is a specialty ven= dor whose niche products are only applicable to one person within the organ= ization. For example, this might be a special marketing service used only b= y one team member in marketing or a transcribing service used by someone in= legal.

The Other Possibility: However, it might be som= ething very different. It is possible that the employee using this vendor n= ot used by anyone else is playing games. They could be in collusion with th= e vendor and splitting "the profits." Even worse, they could have set up a= company whose sole purpose was to defraud your organization.

Tip: Once you have your report of vendors used = by only one employee, roll up your sleeves and do a little investigation. = A little research will help you ferret out which situation is in play with = your single-use vendors. This task should be repeated periodically to ferre= t out new situations.
