G25 <= /a>- These are globe-shaped bulbs, often used in vanities or wall fixtures.=  

 

B12 - These are "candle" shap= ed bulbs often used in wall sconces or candelabra fixtures. They usually ha= ve a smaller E12 base. 

 

BR30 / BR 40 - These are used in recessed fixtures, and have a wide, f= loodlight beam angle.
