 Section 503 of the Rehab Act prohibits employers with federal contracts &#x28;or subcontracts&#x29; from discriminating against applicants and employees with disabilities and requires affirmative steps to hire, retain and promote qualified individuals with disabilities. This web training program will help you to build the foundation for strategizing with your organization on how to hire people with disabilities while properly utilizing your resources. This program will also identify best practices when complying with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs regulations and highlighting key focus areas of the OFCCP. Key Learning Objectives
	- Inform participants of the role of the OFCCP and its compliance responsibilities under 503 of the Rehabilitation Act
	- Inform all covered employers who are federal contractors or subcontractors about their responsibilities under Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act as amended
	- Inform employers with U.S. federal government contracts or subcontracts of $10,000 or more of the new rules
	- Inform covered employers with at least 50 employees and a federal contract/subcontract of at least $50,000 must have in place an affirmative action program for hiring individuals with disabilities
