They had their moments in later albums - The Scientist from Rush of Blood to the Head is an outstanding 5 minutes of music, however it's probably not 'pop'. The whole A Rush Of Blood To The Head album is amazing, better that Parachutes imo. You think The Scientist is great? Go check out Amsterdam, A Rush Of Blood To The Head (song), Violet Hill, Strawberry Swing, Death And All His Friends and Moving To Mars Moving to Mars is the real answer here. How can such a great song stay out of the album? It's as brilliant as Space Oddity for me, but I'm biased. Old Coldplay was my favorite band by far. Moving To Mars would've been the perfect album closer. Up With The Birds is great too, but Moving to Mars is just waaay better I liked coldplay but I got sick of that song... rip. It wasn't a durable song for me I remember that song being the target of a lawsuit because it sounded too similar to Joe Satriani's If I could Fly. If you're a pop artist and you get called out for being too similar to a top notch musician like Satriani, you're doing something kind of right musically. This is literally my all-time favorite song. I may be biased though, I believe all children (who are healthy enough) should be vaccinated by law, with or without parental consent. This is civilized society, vaccinations should be part of the fee to participate.
