    against IMO.Macronutrient intake + size of deficit determines loss/muscle
    retention. You will still lose 1 lb a week eating 500 calorie deficit with
    nutrient dense vs non nutrient dense food. Micronutrients do effect one's
    overall health and therefore ability to make gains, but that role is extremely
    small compared to calories and macros. Unless you are deficient, it is a
   moot point. Ultimately calories/macros will play an astronomically larger
   role for a majority of trainees. The line about losing belly was directly
   quoted from the article. As I said spot loss isn't possible, regardless of
    the intention it is inaccurate and misleading. My protocols are based on
   empirical evidence. Just because some get results using arbitrary dieting
   methods doesn't mean they are just as good. People lose doing broscience diets
    such as paleo, zone, etc and still lose weight. Does that mean they are equivalent
