On many first points Dva can break a stalemate by just boosting over the enemy team and touching the point. That will force 2-3 people to turn around and defend the point, for which Dva has her defense matrix to keep her alive for 10 solid seconds. It gives the attacking team at least ~30 seconds of 5v3, which should be enough to at least break through a choke point. And a Hanzo that gets an elim probably did something to deserve it, considering he does 125 damage per hit. It's not like another \ hero that can cherry tap someone and get an elim for 1-2% of their health. There are situations where medals aren't reflective of how you helped your team, but I feel like a lot of the time people will still on a good player who got golds and will default to "it doesn't matter, they weren't helping" when they were. It's happened to me a lot as Mei, heh. Ya this is the one reason that works hanzo should be gold eliminations. Although I usually have gold as a tank but that isn't to bad on attack maps not really, many times my team loses but the snipers take multiple gold medals, but because there's not enough damage dealers the team gets cornered and the snipers just stay at the other side of the map saying "GUYS PROTECT THE POINT IM THE ONLY ONE DOING MY JOB HERE, IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME LOOK AT MY GOLD MEDALS" and wont change because he thinks he's doing the right thing so the only thing he can do is about how everybody is bad but him.
