Despite all of this, the odor remained and worsened. = He stated that he finally hired Aeroscopics, environmental scientists to = find the cause. Aeroscopics finally determined the cause to be your (3) = Petra rugs. He is expecting a copy of their report today, tomorrow at = the latest and will forward a copy to me. =20 He says that he and his wife are elderly and it is only them in the = condo. The have not had the need to have the carpet cleaned. He = explained that the windows in the condo were tinted because they have a = number of antiques and did not wish to risk any damage from the sun to = those. =20 He has put the rugs in a spare room and they have noticed that the odor = has lessened. I = just got off of the phone with the guest.  He really is a lovely = gentleman and I think his concern is = genuine. 

 

He stated that they actually placed (2) orders - one = for the Petra 9062/03 Oushak Blue 8x10 and another for (2)  Petra 9062/03 Oushak Blue smaller rugs.  I can not = find the order for the smaller rugs & do not know what size they are = at this time.  I have asked him to forward this = receipt.

 

He paid $810 for the = 8x10.

 

The guest has explained that initially, there were no = issues, but about a year or two ago they began to notice an odor.  = Despite airing out their condo, the odor did not dissipate.  In = fact, as time went on, the odor got stronger and stronger.  He = advised me that they had the condo tested for termites & vermin = thinking they might be the cause of the odor.  He said that their = building was even tented to rid it of any termites/vermin.  Despite = all of this, the odor remained and worsened.  He stated that he = finally hired Aeroscopics, environmental scientists to find the = cause.  Aeroscopics finally determined the cause to be your (3) = Petra rugs.   He is expecting a copy of their report today, = tomorrow at the latest and will forward a copy to = me.

 

He says that he and his wife are elderly and it is only = them in the condo.  The have not had the need to have the carpet = cleaned.  He explained that the windows in the condo were tinted = because they have a number of antiques and did not wish to risk any = damage from the sun to those.
