He said that their building was even tented to rid it of any termites/vermin. Despite all of this, the odor remained and worsened. He stated that he finally hired Aeroscopics, environmental scientists to find the cause. Aeroscopics finally determined the cause to be your (3) Petra rugs. He is expecting a copy of their report today, tomorrow at the latest and will forward a copy to me. He says that he and his wife are elderly and it is only them in the condo. The have not had the need to have the carpet cleaned. He explained that the windows in the condo were tinted because they have a number of antiques and did not wish to risk any damage from the sun to those. He has put the rugs in a spare room and they have noticed that the odor has lessened. When he opens the door to that room however, the odor is quite pungent. They are concerned about their heath. He stated his wife has felt ill from the odor. They are expecting company this weekend and he really wants to get rid of the rugs. He asked if we could send someone out to smell them and pick them up. I explained we have no one to do that. He then asked if he could just throw them out.
