It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that Bob Buford has passed=
=2E We rejoice that he is with the Lord, but are saddened that we will not =
see him again in this life=2E
I ask that you please pray for Linda Buford, surviving relatives, and the m=
any people Bob deeply influenced, who will be saddened by his passing, incl=
uding myself=2E He was more than a mentor to me; he extended to me the affe=
ction of a son=2E Bob has had such a profound and personal impact in the li=
ves of so many, and we will miss him dearly=2E

Bob=E2=80=99s great vision was to activate the latent Christian energy, and=
he was highly focused on this effort through the two organizations he foun=

t the Halftime Institute we can carry on his vision of helping the greatest=
leaders of this generation to discover and live out their calling and make=
a significant impact in the lives of others and for the Kingdom=2E

of so many Halftime Alumni as they have taken their best skills and expert=
ise to devote themselves to the care of the poor, the sick, the marginalize=
d, the lonely, the lost, the widows, the abandoned, and have lived their be=
st years in their second halves=2E Whether your calling is in your workplac=
e or in remote overseas villages, the impact of Bob=E2=80=99s life is reali=
zed in my life and yours as we discover and live out those callings and fin=
ish well as Bob did=2E
