The brutality of armed attacks at work, church, school and elsewhere leaves people speechless, fearful and angry. But you need not feel hopeless.

Mass shootings are more common than most people realize. There have been over 571 mass shootings involving the death or injury of four or more people in the past 18 months, according to _The New York Times_.

"It will never happen here," is not a strategy. Planning and preparation is.

Join former FBI terrorism expert and corporate security consultant Rob Haley to learn how to prepare for and reduce the risk of tragedy occurring at your place of business, worship or education.

** Why You Should Take This Training
------------------------------------------------------------

More than 500 workplace homicides occur in the United States every year. The trend is increasing. Haley says shootings often bear common characteristics, citing the Texas church shooting as an example.

> _"The tragic attack that killed 26 in a small church in Texas bears striking similarities with other active shooter attacks. Attackers are often people with a known history of violence, an affinity for firearms and exhibited prior behaviors that may have indicated a potential for violence in the future. It is so difficult to accurately predict that an active shooter attack will occur, but it is always possible to prepare."_ -- _Rob Haley_

The former special agent will walk you through what happens when a violent gunman enters a place of work, worship or public venue. He will also provide your organization with the foundation for an OSHA-compliant Emergency Action Plan to protect you and your business if disaster looms.

This fast-paced 90-minute online training for HR, training and security leaders provides real-life stories, pertinent facts and steps you can take to prepare for and respond to an emergency. In addition to a compelling narrative from former agent Haley, your company will secure the guidance and information tools to update or implement your legally compliant Emergency Action Plan (EAP) along with specific Active Shooter Preparedness Guidelines.

Bring safety and peace of mind to your workplace. Your employees will thank you for it.
